New Galleries
Among 286 galleries from 38 countries and territories, 34 are making their debut at Art Basel Miami Beach this year—the largest number of new galleries since 2008. A few first-timers are New York’s Martos Gallery, Germany’s Jan Kaps, and South Korea’s Gallery Baton, while Miami Beach-based gallery Central Fine relocates to the main sector this year.

Meridian
Marking the most substantial change to the fair’s layout, Meridians relocates to the show floor between Nova and Positions. New curator Yasmil Raymond selected 18 large-scale projects from several artists who exhibited at the 2024 Venice Biennale, to Rachel Feinstein and Jose Parlá, who have concurrent solo shows at The Bass and PAMM, respectively.
Conversations
Berlin-based art critic Kimberly Bradley curates and moderates Conversations for the first time. Held in the Grand Ballroom from December 5-7, the complimentary speaker series kicks off with an in-depth conversation featuring Premiere Artist Hank Willis Thomas. Another panelist topic regards “What can public art do?” Post-recordings are available via Art Basel’s website and YouTube channel.
A legacy of art, a mastery of real estate.
